I agree with the position that some people have "become proud of their intelligence and self-reliance - they do not need other people, and especially do not need God." <BR/><BR/>You make the statement that perhaps intelligent people "have so offended God that he does not enable them to see Him?" I don't think this is possible. God wouldn't do that. God loves all men, regardless of how they feel about God.
